Our sincere thanks to each of our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers,
Grand Prairie Police Association and Tangle Ridge Golf Club. You all are who made our golf tournament such a success
again this year. Without each and every one of you, our mission to make scholarship awards, give to various
charitable foundations, Santa Cop and the Grand Prairie Police Association each year would not be possible.
It is all of you, as a company or as an individual, who share in our mission to help others.

 The “Sgt. Gregory L. Hunter 5th Annual "Remember
The Fallen" Memorial Golf Tournament will benefit non-profit charities as determined by the Grand Prairie Police
Association, and Denise and Erin Hunter. Past beneficiaries are the Texas Peace Officers Memorial Foundation, Guns
& Hoses Foundation of North Texas, MADD, Santa Cop, and the Sgt. Gregory L. Hunter Memorial Scholarship Foundation,
which awards (2) $1,000 scholarships annually to either a graduating senior from each high school in Grand Prairie or a dependent
child of an employee or police officer with the Grand Prairie Police Department. This scholarship foundation was founded by
Sgt. Hunter's widow, Denise and their daughter Erin, after Sgt. Hunter was tragically murdered by an armed felon on Friday,
June 18, 2004. To date, $14,000 in scholarships have been awarded. Sgt. Hunter’s memorial golf tournament is hosted by the Grand Prairie Police Association, registered in the
state of Texas as a non-profit corporation and is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501c (3) of
the Internal Revenue Code. |
