TANGLE RIDGE GOLF CLUB INFORMATION #16 IN THE STATE OF TEXAS

The “Sgt. Gregory L. Hunter 4th Annual "Remember The Fallen" Memorial Golf Tournament benefits non-profit charities such as the Texas Peace Officers Memorial Foundation, Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, MADD, Santa Cop, and the Sgt. Gregory L. Hunter Memorial Scholarship Foundation, which awards (2) $1,000 scholarships annually to either a graduating senior from each high school in Grand Prairie or a dependent child of an employee or police officer with the Grand Prairie Police Department. This scholarship foundation was founded by Sgt. Hunter's widow, Denise and their daughter Erin, after Sgt. Hunter was tragically murdered by an armed felon on Friday, June 18, 2004.  To date, $12,000 in scholarships have been awarded. test

Sgt. Hunter’s memorial golf tournament is sponsored by the Grand Prairie Police Benevolent Association, registered in the state of Texas as a non-profit corporation and is a public charity exempt from federal income tax under Section 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, Tax ID# 26-2910019.
